Blog Week 3

TrueDebt.com in terms of hardware would need quite a bit. I would need at least one PC for any employee working at any given time. However one way to conquer this amount of PCs would be through virtualization. Virtualization could allow me to essentially separate one computer into three to allow different employees access to a computer depending on how much power they need to complete their job.
Another type of hardware would be servers. Servers are essential for a web page like this that has to handle and distribute large amounts of data. Without the server, people would not be able to access the web page and the company would fail.
Also hard drives are essential to store all the data that the website receives like business bio's, maps, reviews and everything else that will be available on the site. The amount of information going into and out of the website will be enormous therefore, the proper amount hardware is very important.

Blog Week 2

TrueDebt.com could be advanced with different technology, some advanced and some simple. One simple way would be through Microsoft Excel. Excel is a powerful tool that could make creating spreadsheets easy. Some other uses of Excel are management dashboards which give quick overviews of a particular subject. This essentially could be linked to any department of the website, whether it's for payroll or client biographies.
Excel calendars are useful to plan out future events or shipment plans. The shipment plans are important because i plan to notify every person accused of debt through mail, and this could easily show when the deadline of the debt is passed and when i can publish the debt records.
Pivot tables are an essential tool for a business to handle large amounts of data and organize it in ways easy to read and change. This can be used for clients' payments, invoices, mailing lists, etc. the list is endless. Another tool available is the ranking formula. I could create a formula that ranks the people in debt from good to bad and other variations to give quick and easy access to  the people viewing the site. This ranking system is essential because it is the main issue that the site is trying to address which is evaluating who is reliable and who is not.

Blog Week 1

My idea is a social media website that links businesses with financial records, reviews, future clients and much more. The main idea for this site is linking the businesses with their financial records, showing past debt or good credit. It would act similarly to a collection agency but not exactly like one. The possibilities for this website are endless, reviews and financial records would just be a stepping stone to many more and influential possibilities.

This relates to the lecture of the week I'm many ways. Due to the endless possibilities of this website, it relates to every aspect of social media. This includes finding and connecting to people, possibly finding jobs, recruiting, promoting, marketing etc.

This whole aspect of social media is opening new doors to innovation and entrepreneurship and almost everything can be satisfying, this idea included. In a business aspect, the power of the internet allows an entrepreneur to promote his/her idea widely and easily. Therefore, this business opportunity has great potential in the future.
