Coming into the ischool i thought that my future would be me arduously sculpting a fantastic resume to one day take me to a great corporate company. My father was an entrepreneur and to be honest i never thought i would take that same path. After i was assigned this project i re-evaluated my future and considered entrepreneurship as a great candidate. As my project grew and i got more involved it hit me... Looking back over my blog and everything i had done, it dawned on me that this is something i definitely want to pursue.
Relating this business concept back to the lectures every week greatly increases my knowledge of all the background work that needs to be done in order to make this dream a reality. The ischool has also opened my eyes to all the possibilities they offer like the sandbox and classes like whats the big idea? At the beginning of the project i was skeptical as to if i could make this business plan work and become a success and now as i look back having completed this project i feel my chances at becoming a successful entrepreneur is much higher and much less arduous than i had previously thought. Although the road in front of me is long and challenging i am confident that with the ischool's help this idea can blossom into a world changing business.

Blog Week 7
The hyper text transfer protocol is an essential part of this business considering the business is based around a website. This protocol would allow people all over the world to view the information on the website without any threat of crashing the website or anything of that sort. This protocol first opens a connection then requests the information then receives the information and the final and most important is the closing of the connection. This is what allows many people to access the website at a given time.
The topic of domain names is also directly relevant to this idea. Using a domain name thats catchy and easy to remember is key for a website or business to be successful. TrueDebt.com is an example of a domain that could be used for this website. The domain is just an ip address but in letters and words not numbers. This is what allows web browsing to be easy and convenient which increases business success over the internet.

Blog Week 6
Operating systems is a key element to every computer. The more common types that are commonly used on PCs are windows and mac. My employees would need whichever OS they are comfortable with preferably windows or mac due to their ease of use. However, Linux is a great OS for behind the scenes work that is essential to a website based company. Linux is a great way to handle web security and one great part of Linux is that it's free, making that profit of the business that much more.
Knowledge of digital color is a great tool when trying to create a website, and extensive knowledge allows for a great website. People have tendencies to judge a book by its cover therefore a professional looking website is key for business success. The hex triplet is one part of digital coloring that is key for HTML aspects. For example if i wanted a red background the code would be FF 00 00, mixing colors is where it gets a little more complicated but professional knowledge of this concept will result in a professional quality website.
To make clear about what would be published and posted on the website, i will summarize it now. The main focus is to post debt of companies on a widely known website so that the company in debt will want to pay it off to clear it's name. This process would be completed through mail or fax, the company complaining about the debt would need to send the records to my company and a notice letter will be sent to the company in debt. There will be a time limit of how long the debt is not paid until the company is published on the website. However, the possibilities of things that could be posted are endless. Other things like company reviews, locations etc could be posted. This is also another way to make money, companies could advertise themselves in these possible business profiles on the site. This idea definitely has some fine tuning needed about what would actually be posted on the website but different ideas are always coming to mind and good products take time.

Blog Week 5
The EnGadget blog is one blog i have chosen to write about. I chose them because i always like to browse their site and check out all the new and amazing technology that is released everyday. They are very knowledgeable of practically all know technologies and offer a lot of different ways to view them and blogs in particular.
Their blogging section is vast and magnificent. They offer loads of information on many different topics. One thing i liked particularly was that most of their blogs are not essays. The posts are short sweet and to the point. Most blogs can get wordy and just a pain to read in general. Engadget tells you what you need to know in very few words. The other reason is that it is extremely up to date. Many many blogs are posted each day on Engadget allowing the viewers to be up to date with the tech world everyday.

Blog Week 4
RFID tags could benefit the office aspect of this company. Using passive tags we could monitor anything being stolen. The reader would be placed in a doorway so that any tag that travels through will trigger it. Attaching tags to all of the business capital like computers, printers, etc. could help keep everything safe and in order.
Bar codes could also help with the office aspect. Using time cards to record employee hours would be the main use of barcodes. This ensures an accurate reading of every employees hours, this would save money due to the elimination of human error.
These technologies and others out there may seem ordinary, but both make managing businesses easier. Making things easier results in more profit and more profit results in a successful business.

Blog Week 3
TrueDebt.com in terms of hardware would need quite a bit. I would need at least one PC for any employee working at any given time. However one way to conquer this amount of PCs would be through virtualization. Virtualization could allow me to essentially separate one computer into three to allow different employees access to a computer depending on how much power they need to complete their job.
Another type of hardware would be servers. Servers are essential for a web page like this that has to handle and distribute large amounts of data. Without the server, people would not be able to access the web page and the company would fail.
Also hard drives are essential to store all the data that the website receives like business bio's, maps, reviews and everything else that will be available on the site. The amount of information going into and out of the website will be enormous therefore, the proper amount hardware is very important.

Blog Week 2

Excel is a powerful tool that could make creating spreadsheets easy. Some other uses of Excel are management dashboards which give quick overviews of a particular subject. This essentially could be linked to any department of the website, whether it's for payroll or client biographies.
Excel calendars are useful to plan out future events or shipment plans. The shipment plans are important because i plan to notify every person accused of debt through mail, and this could easily show when the deadline of the debt is passed and when i can publish the debt records.

Blog Week 1
My idea is a social media website that links businesses with financial records, reviews, future clients and much more. The main idea for this site is linking the businesses with their financial records, showing past debt or good credit. It would act similarly to a collection agency but not exactly like one. The possibilities for this website are endless, reviews and financial records would just be a stepping stone to many more and influential possibilities.
This relates to the lecture of the week I'm many ways. Due to the endless possibilities of this website, it relates to every aspect of social media. This includes finding and connecting to people, possibly finding jobs, recruiting, promoting, marketing etc.
This whole aspect of social media is opening new doors to innovation and entrepreneurship and almost everything can be satisfying, this idea included. In a business aspect, the power of the internet allows an entrepreneur to promote his/her idea widely and easily. Therefore, this business opportunity has great potential in the future.
